Program Description:

Study Abroad in Galway

Thanks to NUIG’s robust Engineering course list, you can study abroad in Ireland just as easily as anyone else! With many courses available in Biomedical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, Civil Engineering, Energy Systems, and Mechanical Engineering, as well as Mathematics and the Sciences, you’ll be able to spend a whole semester in Galway while staying on track in your degree program. At the National University of Ireland, Galway (NUIG), you’ll study alongside local and other international students. With such a variety of Engineering, STEM, and elective courses available, the ball is in your court!

Where You'll Study

Founded in 1845, the National University of Ireland Galway hosts 17,000 students on its central campus along the River Corrib. Attend class side-by-side with Irish and other international students for an integrated experience in western Ireland’s largest, oldest university.
