Program Overview: Musashino University is a historically Buddhist university that celebrates its centennial in 2024. About 500 international students from all over the world gather and learn at Musashino University. Students interact with each other across the boundaries of nationality and culture and are acquiring an international sense and cross-cultural understanding while staying in Japan. 

Program Location: Musashino University is located in Tokyo, with campuses in the Kichijoji area and Odaiba areas. This allows access to the "Shibuya" and "Harajuku" areas of the city.

Application Procedure: After meeting with a study abroad advisor, applicants must complete the UofM study abroad online application. Once their application has been approved, they will be nominated by UofM study abroad office for the exchange program. Musashino University's international office will then follow up with the approved student with further application requirements.

Campus Life: Many opportunities for international students to experience Japanese culture and customs. Students will interact with both Japanese and other international students through the "International Student Association" to which all international students at Musashino University belong. Also, at the International Center, various events such as experiential classes on Japanese culture such as the tea ceremony, kabuki watching, cherry-blossom viewing, disaster prevention experiences, volunteering activities etc. are held. 

Accommodations: The International Division provides international students accommodations at the Kasai International Dormitory. International dormitories are expected to gather international students with diverse values from all over Japan and from around the world and learn together and live together to promote mutual understanding and form a wide range of human relationships. Each room in a private room is equipped with a bath, toilet, air conditioner, mini fridge, IH cooker, desk, chair, bed, closet in each room, so that a comfortable student life can be sent.
