Lucerne, Switzerland

Program Description: Business and Hotel Management School of Switzerland (BHMS), located in the heart of Lucerne, is considered a top hospitality school and is part of one of Switzerland's oldest and largest private higher education institutions. Offering degree programs in culinary arts, hospitality management, and global business, BHMS prepares leaders in the hospitality and service industry by coupling sound instruction in Swiss hospitality excellence with hands-on experience and valuable industry training.
The BHMS Hospitality Management program is specifically designed for students wishing to enter the international hotel and hospitality field and who are aspiring to a management career in this industry. Students studying at BHMS for one full year will spend 6 months in the classroom, followed by 4-6 months of industry training, where they gain real work experience through employment at one of hundreds of BHMS partner companies worldwide. Alternatively, students may choose only to complete the study portion of a shortened semester of 3 months, where they will earn up to 12 credits.
