Program Description: The University of Alicante is a multidisciplinary public university located on the Mediterranean coast. It has study program in all fields of knowledge organised in six faculties and a polytechnic school. The university's spirit is based on a humanist comprehensive education, triggered by the Enlightenment and Classicism movements. The university community is made up of about 3,800 academic and administrative staff members and over 32,000 students enrolled in official degrees. The University of Alicante is focused on overcoming the challenges of today's society with their high-quality, innovative and well organised citizen-oriented services.

Program Location: The University main campus is located in San Vicente del Rasepeig bordering the city of Alicante. Home of white sand beaches, various archaelogical sites and museums, historical buildings, cafes, and the Castle of Santa Barbara the Mediterranean port city of Alicante is the capital of the Spanish Province of Alicante.

Spanish Language Course: One Spanish Course per semester to Exchange students through our Language Center (Centro Superior de Idiomas) for 6 ECTS Credits (3 US Credit Hours).

Pre-Semester Spanish Course: For an additional fee, participants can take an additional intensive Spanish language course one month prior to the beginning of each term. 

Student Life: A variety of sport, cultural, language and leisure activities are available. 

Accommodations: The students coming to the University of Alicante will be provided with services through the university's the accommodation office.
