Program Description: Ulm offers degrees in graphic design (digital media) and many fields of engineering. Learning German beforehand is not required for students electing to take English language course offerings, however you will have the opportunity to take an introductory German language course.
Digital Media & Graphic Design: The curriculum is similar to the University of Memphis degree plan, and students can even take their senior problem and independent study at Ulm in English. The digital media curriculum combines design and technology to help students improve their abilities with animation, story boarding, media law, and semiotics. The digital media program also offers motion capture studio for creating 3D animations and video games as well as virtual reality software, gloves and goggles to create and experience VR. For more information on the graphic design program, please contact Dr. Michael Schmidt by email at email@example.com.
Engineering: Mechanical, computer and electrical engineering students are highly encouraged to study at Ulm. The engineering courses are accredited and will count towards the U of M engineering degree. For engineering students who like to keep up with the industry, Ulm offers internship possibilities at corporations such as -- Daimler Chrysler Research Center Ulm, Nokia Design Center Ulm, European Aeronautic Defense and Space Company Ulm, BMW AG Munich, and Siemens AG Munich. The best time to study for electrical and computer engineering is during the spring semester. The best time for mechanical engineers to study in Ulm is during the fall semester. For more information on the engineering program, please contact Dr. John Hochstein by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- International Energy Economics: The sensible distribution of electricity combined with conventional power supply calls for interdisciplinary expertise. This program combines the fields of Energy Technology, Computer Science, and Business Economics.
