Program Cost: The Eichstaett-Ingolstadt program is a bilateral exchange. Participants will pay UM tuition for 15 credit hours in addition to the $350 application fee. The program fee does not include housing, food, insurance, round trip airfare or personal expenses.

Program Description: Located in the popular vacation region of the Altmuhtal, the Catholic University Eichstatt-Ingolstadt (KU) has approximately 4,400 students enrolled. Class sizes remain remain small, which provides for an excellent student-to-faculty ration.

The Catholic University Eichstaett-Ingolstadt is divided into two campuses: Eichstaett and Ingolstadt and almost 10% of students come from study abroad. Students interested in taking intensive German language courses will attend the Eichstaett campus. Students interested in advanced-level business courses will attend the Ingolstadt campus.

  • Eichstaett Campus: This program is for students studying German language. Students have the opportunity to take regular courses in German, depending on language experience as well as some courses taught in English. For a full listing of courses taught in English, please go here. For information on the courses in German, please contact Dr. Monika Nenon in the Foreign Language Department at
  • Ingolstadt Campus:  Students interested in the advanced level business courses must have already completed two full years of business coursework at the University of Memphis. Business courses are taught in English, but students will have the opportunity to enroll in a beginner-level German course. A list of business courses is available here.
