Program Description:
Teaching English as a Foreign Language
Pilzen, Czech Republic

July 3 Week - 2021
Program Description: Working with participants of the University of West Bohemia’s International Summer Language School, participants will gain skills and experience in teaching English as a Foreign Language. With no additional cost, participants can complete online work before and after the program to earn a 100-hour TEFL Certificate, the introductory credential for teaching outside the U.S. This will be the 23rd summer this course has been offered in partnership with UWB. Please note: there are only 15 spots available for this program. 

Courses Information: 3-6 credits available in English. Credits will transfer from the University of West Bohemia as "Pass/Fail." With "Pass/Fail," students will receive 3-6 credit hours, which will count as the courses below. However, the credits will not count toward students' Grade Point Average (GPA).

Students will take the equivalent of the following courses at the University of West Bohemia: 
  • ENGL 4533/6533 - Issues and Technique in EFL
  • ENGL 4530/7530 - Practicum in ESL

  • 6 Credit Hours - will transfer from the University of West Bohemia
